According to report, salami was said to have drank an insecticide (snipper), and was rushed to the general hospital ijaiye, where he gave up.
Meanwhile information from the New Agency of Nigeria (NAN), disclosed that, salami was allegedly asked by officials of TRACE in Ogun state, to pay the total sum of N215, 000, after his truck was seized for violating the covid-19 law in the State.
But when the public Relations officer of TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, was addressing on the issue, he said that salami was not the truck owner nor a driver.
Babatunde, also disclosed that salami was a manager of fleet of trucks own by another person, stating that the owner of the truck pressurized salami to return with the truck or he will lose his job.
Babatunde further noted that, it is possible that salami killed himself, because of the warning given to him by the owner of the truck.
The truth is that no body knows whether he drank the insecticide, because of the money he was asked to pay.
But to me, commiting suicide is not the best option for him.
