Bad News:First Time in 64 Years, Organizer Cancelled 2020 Ballon d'or Award Due to Coronavirus

 For the first time since 1956 ,since the French football have been awarding the award of the best player of football year. This will be the first time in 64 years ,the award will not be award to the best player. The organizer of the award made the announcement that the cancellation of the award is due to current global challenges cause by Coronavirus. 

In recent years the award have been dominate by Argentina star Lionel Messi and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. 

 Messi have won the award on more occasions than than any other player ,follow by Ronaldo, before the announcement that the award have been cancelled, the duo have been looking forward to winning the award for 2020 football calendar year.

 Other noticeable player via for the award is in form Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandoski . The polish is in a great run of form leading his team to domestic double and still in the Champions League were they old a favorable result against Chelsea. He is currently the top scorer in this year UEFA champions league .

 This will be coming as a bad news for the player who are hoping to win the award. 

  But, the good news is that FIFA are yet to make any official announcement about the FIFA Best player Award. 

 Most fans get the two awards wrong, the cancellation of the Ballon d'or for 2020 doesn't mean their will no be Award for the best player. 

The organizer of Ballon d'or are French football while FIFA hold the exclusive right to name the FIFA Best player Award. 

Hopefully, FIFA will not cancelled their award for the this year, because of the pandemic.
