In Nigeria, it's been over four months since the Federal government of Nigeria ordered the closure of the country's economy and many other sectors as a result of coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Couple of weeks ago, the Federal government considered the gradual easing of lockdown in the country. During the first and second phase of gradual easing of the lockdown, the country's economy and all other sectors were allowed to resume activities exempting schools only.

However, if markets, garages, supermarkets, churches and so on are allowed to operate with only few guidelines, then schools should be allowed to resume.

In y opinion, the Federal government should allow the reopening of schools with strict measures.

It's obvious that students are tired of staying at home so any guidelines that would be given will surely be adhered to because they wouldn't like to continue staying at home.

In My view, These five guidelines should be observed completely for schools resumption

- All schools should provide isolation centres within the school premises so as to isolate any suspected student with coronavirus symptoms.

- All schools must be disinfected before reopening.

- More class rooms should be provided so as to ensure social distancing while learning in class.

- All schools should ensure that each student put on face masks before entering the school premises.

- Lastly, The school should provide a means in which students will sanitize their hands before entering the school premises and while exiting.

In my view, these guidelines should be observed for safe reopening of schools across the country closed until further notice.
