COVID-19: Minister of Foreign Affairs, tested positive.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) is an illness caused by a novel coronavirus was first identified amid an outbreak of respiratory illness cases in Wuhan city, Hubei Province, China. The virus which has now been declared as a global health emergency by the World Health Organization(WHO) has affected thousands of Nigerians and it's complications has claimed the lives of over 700+ Nigerians.

It was reported few hours ago that the Nigeria's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has also tested positive for coronavirus.

The minister did his fourth Covid-19 test on the 19th of July, 2020 at the first sign of soreness of irritation, and the test returned positive, according to a tweet via his official Twitter's handle.

He announced in the tweet "Did my fourth COVID-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best"

He stated that the result returned positive, and he is now heading for isolation in a health facility, where he will receive treatment.

This is a trial time for everyone, recall that several public office holders, including state governors and other public appointees have tested positive to the virus, within the last three months.
