Even before Cross River State had a case of COVID-19, the Commissioner ensured that health workers were trained on Infection Prevention Control in preparation for any case of COVID-19.

Cross River State is the last State in Nigeria to record a case of COVID-19, kudos to Sir Ben Ayade, the State Ministry of Health, the State COVID-19 Response Taskforce, Ayade's Appointees, Security Agencies, Health Workers, Press men and lots more.

Dr Betta Edu's performance deserves commendation.

She believes that the continuous collaborative effort with the FMC would help fight the virus in the State.

Ogun State has been experiencing high increment of COVID-19 cases, yet the commissioner has vowed not to rest until they are able to arrest the situation. She had spent sleepless night at some of the border areas (before the lift of interstate ban) just to be sure the lockdown on border areas are strictly adhered to.
