28 Football Club Members Test Positive For Corona Virus

28 football club members test positive for coronavirus


About Twenty-eight players and staff from Forest Rangers have tested positive for coronavirus.


According to medical report made available, only 30 of the players and staff of the Forest Rangers club tested negative while 28 of them tested positive of the virus.


Due to the out break if corona virus pandemic, the Super League match was suspended just like other league, following the resumption of sport activities, the current situation have lead to the delay in resumption of Zambian season.


Due to the current development, the National football association, has said all 18 league clubs had to undergo coronavirus test this week.


Also National football association warned all the league clubs against not adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines.


According to The general secretary Adrian Kashala, he said if clubs do not adhered to corona virus guidelines, they may be face with match cancellation, losing points and possibly suspension of the league.
