There is no doubt that Covid-19 has remained a major threat to the people of Nigeria, and other people across the world. The government of Nigeria has spent a lot of money in a view to curbing the spread of the virus in Nigeria. However, the NCDC keeps recording new cases of Covid-19 everyday.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that 600 persons have contracted the Covid-19 pandemic on 17th of July. However, despite the the perpetual increase in Covid-19 cases in Nigeria, the NCDC discharges people on daily basis. As at 17th of July, a total of 14633 persons have been discharged by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) after tested negative for Coronavirus.
Furthermore, the agency maintained that 3 persons were killed by the virus on 17th of July, hence, the total number of persons who have lost their lives to Covid-19 in Nigeria has moved to 772.
Additionally, as a result of the fresh 600 cases, the total number of persons who have contracted the virus in Nigeria has increased to 35454.
The following is the breakdown of the new 600 cases. "(Lagos 129), (FCT 118), (Oyo 87), (Kano 55), (Benue 42), (Enugu 35), (Kwara 28), (Imo 16), (Ogun 13), (Kaduna 12), (Ondo 12), (Delta 11), (Edo 11), (Plateau 8), (Nasarawa 6), (Ekiti 6), (Niger 6), (Borno 4), (Abia 3), (Gombe 3)."
