NCDC (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control) have always been giving updates on Twitter concerning COVID-19 in Nigeria since it's outbreak.
But now it seems some Nigerians Twitter users are not concerned about the updates NCDC are giving and take their tweets as an avenue to gain more followers. I guess the updates and message NCDC was passing is not important to them and what they care about is getting more.
I'll share screenshots of their replies below
From the screenshots I shared above, you'll see 90% of them replied 'ifb' which means 'i follow back', it's a slang used to gain followers on Twitter.
What do you think about their replies and is it good or bad?
As for me, I think it's very bad as they make the updates look like a joke. I know some of think COVID-19 in Nigeria is a scam but I'm telling you it's real.
