Vera Omozuwa's death has saddened virtually everyone who knew her or heard about her painful exit in Nigeria and the wholeworld.
Uwaila Vera Omozuwa was a 22 years old promising young girl, studying microbiology at university in Nigeria's Benin City. Uwaila was with the dream to attain a degree in Microbiology but her dreams were cut short in a brutal attack by some devil incanates in human flesh.
On the 27th of May 2020, reports said she was found dead, lying half-naked in a pool of blood at the church where she had been a member of the choir for many years.
Despite the best efforts of doctors to save her life, Omozuwa, whom her family described as "kind and intelligent," died days after the attack.

During the COVID-19 lock down Omozuwa usually went to sought the quiet of her empty church in Benin City, southern Nigeria, as a place to study to avoid distractions from her siblings at home, according to her sister.
With the backing of the general overseer pastor E.A Adeboye, the police have been working hard to resolve the case”.
Police have launched an investigation amid an avalanche of calls from rights groups, public figures and Government officials demanding a thorough inquiry.
Her funeral arrangements was made known to the media through the Twitter handle of a popular media influencer
However, well wishers have taken to social media to penning down heart warming tributes to the deceased.
I sympathise with Uwa’s family. Even though I cannot feel their pains as only they can, I empathise with them nothing can bring their daughter back, but Uwa should get justice to the maximum. The prosecutors should handle the case diligently. Anything but full justice will add salt not only to Uwa family’s injuries, but also, to our collective injuries.
I pray that the perpetrators of this wicked act will be brought to book.
Please don't pass by with out dropping a condolence message for Late Miss Vera Omozuwa Uwaila.
