Hajiya Rabi, who appeared with the child in a viral video a few days ago, said that the victim's mother, who had separated from her father, had reported the child to her sister's husband because she refused to hawk.
However, the sister's husband took advantage of the situation and introduced two of her relatives who had joined forces to rape her.
Hajiya Rabi said: "The girl informed her mother when she saw blood in her urine, and the mother warned the sister's husband to stay away from her.
"However, as the girl continued to sell, she met a man who sold fairly used clothes in the market, who bought her a school sandal and also began to abuse her.
"The owner of a bakery also stood in line after buying cooked rice, which she sold.
"By the end of the day, about five men were sexually exploiting her."
When our correspondent contacted Hajiya Rabi, she said the girl was being treated for contagious diseases and had bruises on her genitals.
Hajiya Rabbi said that four of the alleged rapists were arrested by the police. She continued: "We don't know where the victim's mother is right now, but her father is disabled and cannot move.
"That's why he gave her to us, to help her get justice and also to enroll her in school. He explained, "One of the suspects is on the loose and we are waiting for the police to inform us of the date of the state court appearance.
Kaduna state police spokesman Mohammed Jalige said the police have hard evidence against two of the suspects who have already confessed. ASP Jalige said, "The other two have not yet confessed and we are still investigating.
