The name George Floyd is still trending following the alleged death of the black man in the hands of Minneapolis police officers.
Derek Chauvin, the prime suspect who kneeled on the late George's neck was arrested and charged and after appearing virtually in a Minneapolis court on Monday, June 8th, is set to get bail.
The presiding judge, judge jeannice Reding granted the prosecutor's motion to grant Derek Chauvin bail at $1.25 million.
However, the bail is not without conditions among which is making future appearances in court, being law abiding, not to leave the state, not working in security or any law enforcement capacity, surrendering any arms with him and not contacting the family of the victim, George Floyd.
Recall that the murder of George Floyd has sparked protest in the states with other countries joining in the protest using #BlackLivesMatter.
