Looting: Heartbreaking Photos Of A Man's Multi-million Naira Boutique Completely Looted By Thugs

Imagine having your business you labored for over the years completely looted by none others but your fellow Nigerians who have seized the wave of unrest all the country to vandalize public and private businesses.

It is unimaginable to understand the pain, trauma and agony that must be going through a Nigerian man's mind identified as Mr. Francis Cletus, who suffered great loss as thugs invaded the shopping Plaza his shop is situated at and looted his wares.

Mr. Francis Cletus, an indigene of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, is the owner of Mbetto Boutique, one of the popular boutique in Uyo. His shop was among the private businesses in the town that was attacked, broken into and vandalized.

Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom was affected by the wave of the violence that was unleashed after unharmed Protesters were allegedly opened fire on by Nigeria army on October 20, 2020. The shopping Plaza which his shop is on the ground floor was among the many private businesses looted.

His goods mainly men's clothes and footwares worth millions of Naira were carted away by the irate youths. Not even a single piece was left behind. This is very inhumane act all in the name of revolt against killings of unharmed protesters.

No words will be enough to console Mr. Cletus but compensation from the state governor, Emmanuel Udom to cover the losses he suffered.

Adequate compensation must also be made to others whose private businesses were affected. This will help to ameliorate their pains and restore them.
