Asaba Massacre:

During the period of Nigerian Civil War from the History where as much as 5,000,00 Nigerians were killed either direct acts of war or as a consequence of war. It was brought from History that Asaba Massacre was happened in October 1967. In August 1967, the biafran troops was pushed back by Nigerian troop into onitsha,after the troop (Biafrans) had advanced into Edo & Ondo State (Southern Territories).

On October 5, 1967, the federal troops sink in to the city of Asaba in Delta State and they attacked so many civilians as they reportedly being "Biafran Sympathizer". But when it is on October 7, the leaders in Asaba planned to stop the crisis and they gathered people to step into the city and they start chanting " ONE NIGERIA". when doing this, there was a separation between men and women. Reportedly, the Nigerian Military killed over 700 men and boys with the order of Major Ibrahim Taiwo (Second-in-Commander).

Odi Massacre:

On November 20, 1999, there was a one village called the "Ijaw Village of Odi" in Bayelsa State, the village was attacked by Nigerian Military where over 2500 civilians were reportedly killed by Nigerian Army. The Nigerian Government denied the number of death and they claimed that 43 Nigerians lost their lives.

Also from the report claimed, it was a Former Nigerian President (Olusegun Obasanjo) and the Former Army General ordered the genocide.

Few weeks later to the incident, the total number of 12 police officer were also killed by a gang close to the odi. Building were destroyed and some are also burnt except a church, a bank and the health center was left. But the quarrel between the Nigerian Government and Odi Village was due to Indigenous rights to Oil Natural Resources and protection against environment. But on February 2013, The Federal High Court told the Federal Government to pay the people of Odi the amount money of #37.6 Billion for the compensation. But since then Government only pay #30 Billion Naira.

Ogamiana Massacre:

On 26 February, 2008 around 8:30 p.m, over 50 People in Nigeria (Including Elderly Men, Women and Children) were killed in Ogamiana, Kogi State. 5000 were rendered homeless, more than 20 vehicles, 150 stores and 65 house were burnt while 100 injured.

On February 22, 2008, Ogamiana's Youth were confronted and protected a truck carried Iron Ore to Port Harcourt. Those Youths were protecting against the mismanagement of Itakpe Iron are deposits by Global Infrastructure Limited.

Zaria Massacre:

On 12 December 2015 (On Saturday Then) the atleast 348 People were killed by the Nigeria Army in Zaria, Kaduna State. This was reported that it was mostly a movement against Shia Muslims Group.

But aftermath, The Nigerian Military claims that the incident is all about attempted to assassinate Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai by Shia Muslim Group.

Lekki Toll Gate Massacre:

This Lekki Toll Gate Massacre were recently happened, On October 20, 2020, all the Nigerian youths were on the road along the Lekki Toll gate protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) with the slogan of #EndSARS, this had been done for about 10 days indeed. But on October 20, 2020 the day led to Lekki Toll Gate Massacre, the protest had escalated with some thugs.

Youths are doing this in such that the government will listen to them and satisfy their opinions. Babajide Sanwo-Olu ( The Executive Governor of Lagos State) declared that the curfew will be held from 4:pm in the evening. In afternoon some certain people are in the toll gate to remove the CCTV Camera. Suddenly in the darkness everything just burst into a rough way and it was reported that 7-10 People were shot dead by the Nigeria Military.
