The Nigeria Airforce on Sunday, 19th July, 2020 made public a report of preliminary investigation into the death of the late flying officer Tolupe Arotile with the conclusion that there was no foul play regarding her death.
The director of NAF public relations and information, Air commodore Ibikunle, who addressed the media on the preliminary findings on Sunday said that three of her former classmates in a kia cereto saloon car that hit her would be handed over to the police for further investigation and they would be charged to civil court thereafter. He further stated that there was no trace of alcohol when test was conducted on the three classmates to determine their state of mind.
He further clarified that the three former classmates hailed from Kogi state and were actually the classmates of the deceased.
