Drama As NDDC MD Allegedly Fainted During House of Reps Questioning

The current Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr Daniel Pondei, allegedly fainted when he was being questioned by the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC.
The incident occurred on Monday, 20th July, 2020. It was a serious occurrence.
Recall that the House of Representatives is in its fourth day of questioning and public hearing, as investigations relating to mismanagement of funds is in progress.
NDDC Managing Director, Mr. Pondei Daniel, had reportedly been questioned for about one hour before he appeared to have fainted on his table.
As a result of this occurrence, the people around rushed to his aid and attempted to resuscitate him. They actually raised him up and opened his mouth so that he would receive oxygen.
After Mr. Daniel Pondei regained consciousness, the people in the hall led him out of the interrogation session.
The House later moved motion to proceed on thirty (30) minutes recess.
