Alleged Nigerian fraudster, Ramoni Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi, has been transferred to California for his trial, weeks after hiring top Chicago attorney, Gal Pissetzky, to defend him in a Chicago law court.
It was earlier reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) indicted Hushpuppi for excessively funding his luxurious lifestyle through internet fraud and other scam related activities.
Hushpuppi has recently been denied release from imprisonment by a Chicago court which directed that he must remain in confinement until his next trial date later in the year.
He has now hired a government attorney to vindicate him after his trial was moved to another district.
The alleged Nigerian fraudster was transferred to California on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 and he is currently awaiting trial.
It is evident that Hushpuppi could be guilty of the charges levelled against him. If he is granted bail at last, do you think he will retrace his steps?
