The suspect who was arrested by the Okehi Local vigilante at Usungwe, a small community along Kabba-Okene road in early hours of Friday and handed over to the police confessed that he was going to carry out the operation at the community again when he was nabbed
As at the time of the arrest, Aliyu was found to be in possession of Honda Accord car with no number plate and several household items makes series of confession.
Speaking on the incident, the Senior Special Adviser on security matters to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon.Abdulraheem Ohiare of Okehi Local Government Area of, Kogi State said it was unfortunate and commended the vigilante group for a job well done and he added that there is no room for criminal acts of any kind in Okehi Local Government as it is either they repent or ceased to be living in the Local Government Area and its environ.
The suspect, Aliyu Nasiru had been handed over to the Okehi Local Government Divisional Police Headquarters for proper investigation
