EFCC Boss Magu Have Been Granted Bail

The suspended acting director of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has marked the charges leveled against him as "gibberish". 

Magu expressed this while talking with The Nation hours after his discharge from confinement. He communicated stun at the charges, which he guaranteed were exaggerated to discolor his picture. 

"They are jabber. They are minor trump up charges to discolor my picture and that of the EFCC. I didn't take or redirect or convert assets to private use. I read the claims and I was stunned. 

"What I have experienced is an instance of pooch eats hound however I consider it to be one of those dangers of the activity… we should not surrender at all," Magu said. 

He additionally said thanks to Nigerians for their help and pledged that "whether I am EFCC Chairman or not, the counter defilement war must proceed." 

Magu was discharged 10 days after he was gotten by men of the Department of State Services (DSS), to confront the Justice Ayo Salami - drove Presidential board over charges of misappropriation and debasement.
