How Policemen Rescued Kidnapped Corp Member, One Other In Ogun

A serving Corp member, Agnes Okoroji, and one Tawa Sosanwo have been rescued in Ogun state by some gallant police officers on Wednesday. Agnes who is a corp member attached to Federal Girls College, Sagamu Ogun State was kidnapped and was being taken to an unknown destination. It was reported that one of the kidnappers was gunned down while others were able to escape through a nearby bush.

It was gathered that, as the two ladies; kidnapped at different locations, were being taken to an unknown destination, police suspectedly sighted the Sienna car and flagged down the car. The driver refused to stop but rather sped off in an aim to escape. The policemen led by the divisional police officer, Sagamu, SP Okiki Agunbiade gave the Sienna a hot chase and the kidnappers opened fire at the police vehicle. As the police responded by firing back at the kidnappers, the kidnappers stopped and ran off into the bush leaving behind their vehicle, the ladies and other items found inside the vehicle. As the policemen lighted off their vehicle, one of the kidnappers were shot dead while others narrowly escaped in the bush.
