#JusticeForUwa: Full Story of How The 6 Suspected Killers Were Tracked and Arrested

Six suspects have been paraded by the Edo Police Command for their alleged involvement in the rape and murder of a 100-level Microbiology student of the University of Benin, Uwaila Vera Omozuwa, 22, in a church in ihovbe Quarters, Benin City.

Recall, that Uwaila was said to have gone to the church to read in May this year, when the suspects went into the church, raped and inflicted serious injury on her that eventually led to her death after some days in the hospital.

According to EBSTV, the six suspents were identified as Osabohien Nosa, 31 years; Collins Ulegbe, 24; Akato Valentine, 29; and Nelson Ogbebor, 27. Two women were also apprehended. They include Tina Samuel and Mary Ade.

One of the suspents Osabohien Nosa was alleged to have bought late Uwaila's Mobile phone for the sum of N17, 000. Using high technical intelligence, the said Osabohien was arrested by the police in Benin City. He then took the police to arrest the principal suspect, Collins Ulegbe.

Collins who confessed to have directly participated in the murder said he used the fire extinguisher to strike the late Uwaila after other suspects engaged her. The said Collins named Akato Valentine and Nelson Ogbebor as other members of the gang.

Marry Ade was said to have offered the sum of N1 million to the gang for the murder of Uwaila for ritual purpose. One of the suspects said the blood of Late Uwaila Vera Omozuwa was allegedly cleaned with her white handkerchief and then given to the said Mary Ade.

Tina Samuel was arrested for allegedly obstructing the police from arresting her son identified as lucky alleged to have participated in the murder.
