Yesterday at Ilorin, Kwara State Capital, A headless body of suspected cultist was discovered lifelessly lying on the ground. The deceased was popularly known as ‘Star Body’. His corpse was found at the railroad around Maraba area. Security operatives made it known to the public that the head of the deceased was dumped around Police Road, GRA, in Ilorin. The person or group of people that carried this gruesome act out deposited the deceased’s head in a polythene bag and dumped it off.
The case has not yet been totally unraveled as no suspect has been apprehended at the time of this report. The body of the deceased was taken away by the Police and Civil defense corps.
Mr Okasanmi Ajayi, the spokesperson of the state police disclosed to the public when he was contacted that the incident has not yet been explained to him in details. Similar brutal cases were recorded about two weeks ago in the state capital as two cultists were murdered and dumped in same manners.
