28-year-old Ghanaian man arrested in Enugu for pouring hot water on his lover's breast

The Enugu state police Command has affirmed the arrest of Emmanuel Opoku, the 28-year-old Ghanaian man who supposedly poured hot water on the bosoms of his Lover, one Chiamaka Ngwu at their home in Akuke-Awkunanaw, Enugu. 

An announcement discharged by the representative of the state police Command, ASP Ndukwe Ekea, says Opoku's arrest was a continuation of an appeal got at the order's home office on July 10 from Women Aid Collective (WACOL), Enugu that he purportedly dedicated the follow up on June 23 after a misconception between the sweethearts. 

''Starter examination uncovers that the darlings have been together for more than three (3) years with three (3) youngsters, yet will be yet to be usually or in any case wedded. It further shows that they had misconception on the said date, which prompted the speculate pouring boiling water, planned for the readiness of pap, everywhere throughout the casualty's bosoms. This caused her heinous substantial damage'' the announcement read 

The representative said Opoku has been charged to court and remanded in Police authority for additional meeting. 

He included that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmad AbdurRahman MCPSS, MCJ, MNIM has coordinated the prompt dispatch, convenient finish of examination and arraignment of the suspect. He said the Commission has advised hitched or would-be couples to avoid demonstrations of abusive behavior at home, which is fit for causing suffering physio-mental damages on its casualty, notice that the Command will remain determined to arraign guilty parties. 

He solicited inhabitants from the State to instantly report any person(s) discovered submitting or have submitted demonstrations of attack/deplorable real damage and related offenses, because of aggressive behavior at home, to the closest Police Station or by calling the Command's hotlines on: 08032003702, 08075390883, 08086671202 or 08098880172.
