In a swift reaction by the Kogi State Ministry of Women affairs and Social development, upon hearing the news Her Excellency, the wife of the Executive Governor of Kogi state ordered the immediate arrest of Khadija Dauda.
Kogi state commissioner for Women affairs, Hajiya Fatima Kabir Buba described the incident as a wicked and gruesome act as she promised that she will make sure that fourteen year old Zainab Dauda gets justice.
Several part of Zainab's body was badly scalded as a result of the inhuman act from Khadija but the Ministry are currently taken responsibilities of the treatment.
Khadija Dauda however have been arrested and will be charged to court according to the Commissioner.
We pray for divine healing for Zainab Dauda.
