Covid-19: Cases Exceeds 35,000 As Nigeria Records New 600 Cases

New cases of the novel corona virus has evolved on Friday. This was made known through the NCDC tweeter handle late hours on Friday. The center has recorded 600 new cases of corona virus across the country. See the figures below:

Anybody That Does Not Pay Tithe Is Under Financial Curse - Oyedepo

The immediate Bishop of Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has said people who do not pay tithe are under financial curse. The cleric made this known in a tweet on Thursday, emphasizing that tithing is an obligation. He made it clear that wealth and prosperity is impossible without tithing.

Undergraduate, Mother, Girlfriend Arrested By EFCC In Benin

EFCC Benin Zonal Office has arrested a Uniport undergraduate, Kenneth Gift, his mother, Dorah Aninah and girlfriend, Dandy Spice for internet fraud. The 22 year old internet fraudster was arrested following petition by US Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI. Items recovered includes 5-bedroom duplex, Mercedes-Benz CA250, Mercedes-Benz C250, Mercedes-Benz GLK 350, mobile phones and laptops.

It was gathered that the suspects have confessed to the crimes and they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are over.

42 Nigerians Deported From Niger Republic

Forty-two Nigerians have been reportedly deported from the Republic of Niger for illegally entering into the country. The deportees were said to have gained access to the country without valid documents.

Abdullahi Dalhatu, the Acting Controller, Nigerian Immigration Service, Kastina state made this known on Friday in a statement he made to journalists. The deportees were said to have gained entrance through illegal routes.

Two Bag 3 Years Jail Term Over Internet Fraud In Warri

Two internet fraudsters, Ochuko Okikifo and King Thank God, have reportedly been sentenced to 3 years in jail. The two were charged with the crime of criminal impersonation to which they pleaded guilty and verdict was pronounced on them on 15th July, 2020 by Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Warri, Delta state. After the sentencing, all items found on the two were confiscated to the federal government of Nigeria.
