The lawmaker disclosed that he was in Kano when he received a call from home by 2.30am. He learned that kidnappers had abducted his daughter, Juwairiyya.
He narrated that the abductors invaded his house and tied up his elder brother, Lawal Kore, whom they had mistaken for him.
Kore disclosed that when his brother told them that he wasn’t at home, they told his wives and children that they were there to kidnap him and were not ready to leave empty-handed.
The lawmaker noted that the kidnappers had yet to contact him to make any demands.
