Many Nigerians on social media have taken to their Twitter page to react on the recent hacking by bitcoin scammers.
The Twitter accounts hacked include, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Uber, Jeff Bezos, Kenya West and many other handles.

According to reports, over 5000 people have already fallen for the scam, and have lost over $7 million so far to these scammers. This is said to be Twitter's biggest hack of all time which happened within few minutes.
However, Twitter has revealed the hack to be a social engineering attack.
“We detected what we assume to be a coordinated social engineering attack by individuals who successfully targeted some of our employees with access to internal system and tools,” Twitter wrote.

This has caused an uproar on Twitter as some Nigerians were quick to point out Hushpuppi, and disclosed that it was good he was arrested before the hack else he would have been linked to the Twitter hack.
