See What This Girl Wore That Made Police To Arrest And Extort Her In Ibadan (See Evidence)

A young lady identified as Omawunmi has reported two Nigeria Police officers for humiliating, illegally arresting and, finally, extorting her of her hard earned money.

According to her some group of Nigeria police officer in Ibadan arrested her at New Akala Express Way in front of Taska Filling Station when she was waiting for Uber she ordered. She added that the two police officers raised their guns, threatened her, bundled her into their van, and drove away. They told her that what she was wearing was bad.

She further said that they demanded twenty thousand naira (#20,000), they threatened her to transfer the money or she won't be released. They later collected ten thousand naira (#10,000) from her and forced her out of the car.

The tweet got the attention of one of Nigerian veteran artistes, Rugged Man who called for the arrest of one of two police officers involved in the illegal arrest and extortion, Elijah Oyewale. Elijah Oyewale was the police officer whose account the money was transferred into.
