NAF finally reveals name of Arotile's killer, gives detailed explanation of the Accident

Nigeria first female combatant helicopter pilot Arotile Tolulope met her untimely death at the age of 23 after been involved in an accidental at the Nigeria Air Force Base in Kaduna. 

After lots of outcry by Nigerian citizens including the sister of the victim that the Nigeria Air Force should investigate the matter with some people claiming foul play must be involved.The Nigeria Air Force has finally revealed the identity of the victim's killer.

NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ibikunle Daramola, made this known at a briefing in Abuja on Sunday.

The driver who drove the vehicle was identified as “Mr Nehemiah Adejoh”.

While explaining how the incident occurred, He said, “Mr Nehemiah Adejoh, Mr Igbekele Folorunsho and Mr Festus Gbayegun, drove past her in a Kia Sorento SUV, with Registration Number AZ 478 MKA. It is noteworthy that Messrs Adejoh, Folorunsho and Gbayegun are all civilians who live outside NAF Base Kaduna, but were on their way to visit one Mrs Chioma Ugwu, wife of Squadron Leader Chukwuemeka Ugwu, who lives at Ekagbo Quarters on the Base.

When they saw their classmate, after driving past her, the driver Adejoh, tried to reverse the vehicle to meet with Arotile, the vehicle rear accidentally hit Arotile causing her to hit her head on the floor. The vehicle then ran over parts of her body as it veered off the road beyond the kerb and onto the pavement, causing her further injuries.

The NAF will transfer the case to the Nigeria Police force since it's a civil case.
