I was SUFFERING, My condition pushed me into CRIME - Man who stole church OFFERING, phone confesses

It is unbelievable indeed to realize the reason people who are guilty of a crime give when they are finally caught, as a man in Ebonyi State, after he was arrested and now set to be jailed, according to punch confessed to the crime he did. The man whose name is Emmanuel Nwonu after being found guilty of stealing church offering, and a phone confessed that he was suffering, and his condition indeed pushed him into crime.

The man who confessed that his father was visual impaired; had issues with his sight, and he was left to take care of him. He noted that life hasn't been easy at all for him ever since he lost his job as a driver, and hasn't found any job since then. Emmanuel, however added that he has no place to sleep as he sleeps under a fly over at night. Emmanuel who noted that he was guilty of the crime committed by him said he was forced to break into St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kpirikpiri in Abakiliki local government area of Ebonyi State, and break the offering box, stealing a total sum of 41,465 Naira.

However, it was gathered according to reports that the man a day before then, he had stolen and undisclosed amount, and a phone from a woman in Udunukwe area of Abakiliki local government area. The police who recovered the phone, however according to punch noted that it wasn't the first time he was arrested for burglary and stealing, as he committed the same crime, twice, three years ago. The man was arrested by the Nigerian police, and was able to recover the money which he stole from the church, as he now faces jail sentence for 12 months, without an option for any fine.
