In the late hours of yesterday Monday July 20, 2020, there was several confirmed reports circulating social media platforms that a popular Nigerian artiste Ababanna was arrested for defiling a minor three times in Abia State.
Ababanna whose real name is Uba Obinna Agbaso is a popular indigenous igbo musician who hails from imo state.
Popular instagram information page instablog9ja made an official report on his arrest as they posted a picture of Ababanna, with the caption,
"Singer Ababanna arrested for allegedly defiling a minor three times in Abia. "
Instablog9ja went further to write,
"The Nation reports that the victim is the daughter of a vulcanizer, Victor Okereocha, and was allegedly raped over three times by the singer.
An uncle of the victim, Godwin Okereocha, said the suspect and the victim live in the same compound and that the suspect took advantage of the girl each time her father left for work.
Speaking on how he was caught, Okereocha said that the little girl at some point could not endure the torture of dying in silence and so confused in her immediate elder brother who is 14 years old....
The uncle accused some politicians of making plans to get the accused singer out of police custody. "
