Rivers Commissioner of Police Calls On Wike To Hand Over Ex-NDDC Boss
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police Mr. Joseph Gobum Mukan
, called on Governor Nyesom Wike to hand over former Acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Joi Nunieh to the Police.
The Commissioner made this know today as he address the issue.
The former Acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Joi Nunieh who is taking refuge at the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt.
Early hour of Thursday, some Policemen from the Inspector General of Police lead siege at the house of the former acting NDDC boss, in attempt to arrest her.
But the governor of Rivers State on getting the information, Wike stormed the residence of the former NDDC boss with his government house security team and freed her before the police men get full entrance into her apartment.
The CP of Rivers state have asked governor Wike to release the former Acting MD of NDDC to the police so as to continue there investigation.
