I am Confused: I Don't Understand Why EFCC Had To Arrest Kenneth's Mother Along With Him
The Operatives of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Thursday arrested one Mr. Keneth Gift, an undergraduate of The University of Port Harcourt over an alleged internet fraud.
The 22-year old Computer Science student of the said University was arrested along side his mother, Dorah Aninah and Spice Igwe, his girlfriend.

According to the statement released by The EFCC, 3 Mercedes benz, a 5-bedroom duplex, mobile phones and laptop computers were recovered from Keneth at the point of arrest.

My confusion now is why his mother should be arrested along with him. The only time i know that the law enforcement agents use to arrest parents for the crime of their children is when the culprit run away. But in this case, Kenneth did not run away, yet his mother was arrested. The EFCC in their statement did not mention the offence of the mother so i wonder why she should be arrested.
Please i need some clarifications.
Thank you.
