A man simply identified as Friday Asuquo in Anambra State, Amawbia precisely, has Allegedly shot his best friend with pump action fully loaded with five live cartridges, His intention was to kill him, but as God may have it, he survived it, and the bullet hit him at his back.
The 27 year old Asuquo, shot his friend Kingsley Aranino over the N1000 naira debt he owe him, According to report, they started arguing between them over the N1000 debt Kingsley owed him, and Friday went inside City of Restoration Church at Amawbia and brought out pump action.
SP Haruna Mohammed, the spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command, who comfirmed the incident and said that the culprit had a misunderstanding, with his friend Kingsley over a thousand naira debt, and during argument, Mr Friday quickly rushed inside the church and brought out a pump action, allegedly pulled the trigger and shot his victim at his back.
He was immediately arrested by the police while Kingsley, his victim is receiving treatment at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Anambra.
