If you would recalled the embattled Suspended EFCC Chairman Mr.Ibarhim Magu has been in police custody for over 10days where he had to face the presidential panel set up to investigate the activities of the EFCC under his leadership.
It was observed that there where alot of discrepancies between the figures of the submitted looted fund and the actual money said to have been recoverd in the accounts, among other allegations.
It was confirmed by his lawyer yesterday, July 15, 2020. while on live TV with channels television that Mr. Magu has been released.
Mr. magu spoke to the press yesterday that all allegations were mere assumption and just to tanrnish his image. He outrightly denies diverting recovered fund for personal use he said after reading the allegations he was surprised.
He went further to appreciate Nigerians for their support through his trying times and vowed to fight corruption and he also said that corruption kills a nation faster than any virus.
He pledge to continue to fight corruption in our nation and must win in the fight that he is never going to relent in his good works.
He went further to say even if he is not reinstated or not we would continue the good fight of anti-corruption, he said what he went through is just a case of Dog eat dog.
