3 Lessons To Learn From The Death of Fahim Saleh Be You a Successful Entrepreneur or an Aspiring One

On 15th July, 2020 the world was shocked by the gruesome murder of a successful young and rich entrepreneur/Tech expert, Fahim Saleh, who before his death, was the CEO of Gokada, a motorcycle-sharing company platform he co-founded with a Nigerian called, Ayodeji Adewunmi in Lagos State some time in 2018.

Fahim was 33 years old. It was reported that his killer(s), dismembered him with an electric saw in his $2.5million condo he newly acquired last year in New York, United States of America.

However, after reading about this young successful businessman and what he has achieved over the years that made him a millionaire at a young age, I soberly brought out three lessons we shouldn't toil with, as an aspiring or an already made Entrepreneur/ Businessman or woman.

Without further ado, let's dive into the meat of the matter and see the three lessons we all should learn from the demise of Gokada CEO.

Being security conscious is one major area of a successful Entrepreneur or an Aspiring one, that shouldn't be treated anyhow. You should always make provisions for your safety, like going to some places with Policemen or bouncers/ bodyguards, just like we see in the case of celebrities/ superstars all over the world.

When this known personalities are travelling, we normally see them with some heavy weight bodyguards/bouncers or Policemen just for security purposes. As such, I have this feeling that if Fahim Saleh, the CEO of Gokada, had got this security strategy in place, his death would have probably been thwarted, but he hadn't that in place.

Furthermore, do not assume always or believe that everyone loves you the way you do to them. Some might not be happy with the fact that you have made it in life and so many other hating which you wouldn't know, so even as you do good to them, do remember not to throw security/ safety out through the window. Be SECURITY CONSCIOUS!

Being secretive to some extent, is a good quality we should learn. Yes! In this I mean that not everything is meant for you to publicize or made known to the public. Most young and successful Entrepreneur in recent time, are fond of updating the public on the recent progress they or their establishment is making, just unnecessarily on social media platforms without knowing that not everyone commenting good on the update/progress you shared are really happy with you.

We all know that so many successful Entrepreneur, through this kind of show off on social media platforms, have lost their lives through murder/assassination, kidnapping and robbery. So we should learn not to tell the public every inch of progress we or our business makes unnecessarily to avoid the mentioned threat to our lives and business.

Come to think of it, billionaires like Dangote, Femi Otedola, Folorunsho Alakija, Mike Adenuga, Athur Eze, Tony Elumelu and so many of them, were not being careless to themselves before the public in their life/business progress update, except when it mattered most, you see them few times on newspapers back then when there were nothing like social media platforms, and till today you don't hear much about them even with the social media platforms everywhere. So guard your progress and that of your business and live for tomorrow.

This is the last but not the least lessons we should learn from the Fahim Saleh's death. Prayer is one thing that we shouldn't joke with whether as an entrepreneur or not, it is something you can't take away from yourself. Giving your life to God and genuinely communicating to him in prayers, is a sure means to win your spiritual battles. Of course you know that once someone is successful and well known in the society, many evil plans are being made against him or her by the jealous and wicked ones who detest success/progress in their fellow human.

Therefore, it is because of this unseen forces and many more, should make you consider striking a strong relationship with your maker because he sees things no man can see .and equally knows how everything is going on Earth. In his words, in Proverbs 19:23 , he made us understand that the fear of him(God) leads life ; and he who has it, is rest satisfied and will not be visited by harm.

Also not that God does not disappoint his people and so will not allow shame come to you and your business, as long as you build a relationship with him. Finally, let God lead the way in your life and business, and you will be alive to enjoy your suffering.
