The suspects were identified as 27-year-old Lucky Sunday who worked as a driver and his 23 year old co-defendant Lukeman Ogunleye a furniture maker.
The prosecutor revealed to the court that the duo of Sunday and Lukeman conspired with other individuals who are on the run to dispossess Mr Salisu Katsina of his belonging. Items stolen from Mr Salisu included his Quran, Techno phone and 15 crates of Egg, all valued at 30,000 Naira.
According to ASP Roman Unuigbe, the incident which happened at Arobadede Street in Bariga, Lagos State involved the use of a gun and machete in robbing the victim of his possessions.
Chief Magistrate A.O Adebayo who Presided over the case, ordered that the two defendants be remanded at Ikoyi Custodial centre for 30 days as she adjourned the case till the 24th of August for hearing.
