The disclosure was made known by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement at Abeokuta when he said that the two suspects; Joshua, Michael and Emeka attempted to steal another motorcycle before they were being caught.
Mr Oyeyemi added that immediately the suspects saw the police, they took to their heels, but with the help of members of the public, they were caught.
However, the attacked motorcyclist was rescued from criminals while with a thorough search, locally made double barrel pistol, and charms were found and recovered from the suspected criminals.
Mr Oyeyemi opined that the police Commissioner for Ogun State, Mr Kenneth Ebrimson has asked for the immediate transfer of suspects to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, for further investigation and prosecution.
