A 55-year-old suspect identified as Emeka Okwuome has been arrested for molesting a 14 year old in a bathroom in Lagos State
The 14 year old victim, was disclosed to be Motherless as she started to live with her relative in relative in Lagos after her mother died.
On how the incident took place, the suspect had allegedly knocked on the bathroom where the victim was bathing, ignoring the two other bathrooms in the building, he ordered the victim to open the door.
Narrating her ordeal, the victim said, "i opened the door out of fear"
She disclosed that it was the noise of her pain that alerted a female neighbour who was walking to another bathroom. The neighbour then demanded that she wont leave the bathroom till those inside came out.
The Victim who confessed committing the crime blamed the devil. While begging that he should be allowed to settle the matter out of Police involvement he added, “If I go to jail, who will take care of my children,”
He is still detained in police custody.
