Good day to our esteem readers of Opera Hub.
This is another terrible story that may break your hearts. Last week I made a very comprehensive report on this very platform about the plights of the young Almajiri children. I explained how hard their situation is, and how they are coping in this trying time. Well, this writeup will say it all here.
The Nigerian Police Force, Niger state command has uncovered another building stocked with young Almajiri children, some tied to a chain to prevent them from escaping the harsh conditions they are forced to endured. The famished children, aged 5 to 15 are whipped mercilessly and sometimes denied meals. The police arrested the person operating the place and took him to the force command in Suleja together with the victims.
This incident happened in Sabon Agwa Kwamba in Suleja local government. The Suleja traditional council supported the police Command and forwarded the case to Minna, Niger state Capital. The Suleja traditional council also urges it residents to forward complaints of such buildings in the state for the Police for violators to face the full wrath of law.
This is not the first time such places is busted by police in Nigeria. In recent months, many of these centers were closed in Kano and Kaduna for abuse of children and other violations of right.
