EFCC Arrests Uniport Undergraduate, His Mother And Girlfriend For Suspected Internet Fraud

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on Thursday July 16, 2020
A 22-year old Computer Science Undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Kenneth Gift, and his girl friend, by name Dandy Spice and his mother, Dorah Aninah were arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC from Benin Zonal Office on Thursday 16 of July , 2020 for suspected internet fraud in Agbor, Delta State.
The EFCC released a statement saying that their arrest was due to a petition from the United States Federal Bureau of investigation, FBI, and special intelligence by operatives of the Commission.
The Items EFCC recovered from the 3 of them when they were arrested are a five bedroom duplex, a Mercedes-Benz CA250 car, a Mercedes-Benz C250 car, a Mercedes Benz GLK 350, laptop computers and mobile phones.
In the statement EFCC released they said useful statements have been made and they will be charged to court after investigations.
