Kidnapper Shot Dead In Ogun, 2 Victims Rescued

One black toy gun, a gold wrist watch, a Samsung galaxy S7 phone, a cutlass, and one black wrist watch have been recovered from a suspected kidnapper in Ijebu Ode Road, Ogun State.

The kidnapper was shot dead by policemen in the area on Wednesday, July 15 2020.

According to a statement released by the State’s police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the DPO, SP Okiki Agunbiade was on a routine patrol with his men.

Then they reportedly sighted a Sienna bus with registration number MUS 86 FN with occupants who had suspicious looks but rather than stop for a search, the driver sped off.

A gun battle ensued shortly after, leading to the death of one of the kidnappers.

Two victims identified as Okoroji Agnes, a youth corper attached to Federal Girls College Sagamu and one Tawa Sosanwo who were kidnapped at various locations, were rescued by the police.
