
On Wednesday Edo State Police Commissioner Johnson Kokumo paraded for six suspects who allegedly raped and murders in a church in the Ihovbe neighborhood inBenin a 100-tier University Microbiology student, Uwaila Vera Omozuwa.
The suspects are Ms Nelson Ogbebor, Ms Tina Samuel, Ms Osabohien, and Ms Collins Ulegbe. They are also suspects.
Remember that Uwaila went to church to read when the suspects raped her and caused her serious injury, leading to her death.
The Commissioner of Police said, The subject of the murder was a great matter for the Inspector General of the Police, Mr. Muhammed Adamu.
Today's efforts to get at the root of the crime have led to what we see, and today, I announce to you that the perpetrators were arrested.
The post-mortem, Kokumo said, confirms the raped death.
He said he told state citizens earlier that police were going to make every effort to expose the people behind her death, adding that the suspected parade was fulfilling their promise.
