Years ago, Young Zainab Aliyu was jailed by the government of Saudi Arabia for possessing hard drugs which she denied truthfully. Today, Zainab is going round the media again because, her story changed from Grass to Grace.
According to reports made by different media across Nigeria today, Zainab Aliyu completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The reason why she's catching headlines of today's dailies is because, she was jailed for a crime she didn't commit but was saved by President Muhammadu Buhari. Zainab returned to Nigeria after been released and immediately began her Service which she finished with the most recent batch today.
Nigeria's Chairman For Citizens in Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa made this known by tweeting the success of Zainab Aliyu to the world. According to her:
"Remember Zainab Aliyu, wrongly jailed in Saudi for carrying drugs she had no knowledge of, and rescued with the intervention of [email protected]? She just completed her NYSC. We wish Zainab the best as she moves on to great success in life [email protected]"
Meanwhile, the World also felicitates with Zainab Aliyu because it was indeed a success to be applauded.
