Abuchi Wisdom was a 29 year old man who was beheaded by his friend. He informed his friend Moses Moses about his brother who was in South Africa who sent 13 million naira to his account in order to build a house, of which he planned to build in his village.
He was killed on the 7th of January 2020, during a night shift at the table water company where both of them worked. After killing him he confessed that he cut of his head from his body so as to prevent people from recognizing him.
He took his friend phone and ATM card to some people where he redrew a sum of 2.2 million naira. He then redrew some other money at different POS points in the country. The man headless body was found by the police and since they could not recognize him he was kept in the mortuary.
His brother in South Africa noticed that his phone was switched off and there was no way of reaching him. The police then started investigation after some months.
The culprit was found in an hotel in Edo state, where he was hiding. He was arrested and he led the police to the other culprit. Then he was made to confess his crime.
