Self Acclaimed Monarch Arrested Over Alleged Murder, After Refusing Police Invitation

It has been reported that, Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko, who is the prince of Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North LGA of Delta State, was arrested by police on Saturday for an alleged murder.

It was gathered that, the prince was arrested during the early hours of Saturday 18th by police operatives.

According to reporters, the prince is presently resting in police cell where he is being interrogated, however he has been parading himself as the new Obi (monarch) of the kingdom.

CP Mohammed Hafiz, who is the Delta State commissioner of Police, affirmed the arrest of Prince to newsmen when contacted, also stating that the prince is yet to be coronated as the new monarch.

Further speaking, the police commissioner stated that, he was arrested for a murder case after he refused honouring our invitations.

“He is currently in our custody undergoing investigation after we arrested him on Saturday.”

What is your opinion?

I strongly believe he knows something about the murder case that is the reason he refused submitting himself to the police for investigation.
