Uwaila Omozuwa “Uwa” a 22 year old 100 level student of University of Benin was said to have been rapped, beaten and killed some months ago inside a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Edo state Nigeria after she went their to study.
Uwaila, was brutaly raped by some hoodlums who reportedly struck her in the head with a fire extinguisher after raping her and left her life less. After the incident She was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital where she was later confirmed dead.
According to the Nigerian police, The 22-year-old died on May 30, just days after the brutal assault inside the church of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, or RCCG, in Benin city, a spokesman told CNN.
According to some recent investigations Uwa was struck with a plank from behind by one of the gang while the other was talking to her to distract her from noticing why they were there, and he later struck her with a fire extinguisher to make sure she was dead.
