A drunk woman in stoke, Staffordshire, has been sexually assaulted by a man who married his wife hours ago, the mirror reported.
According to reports, Pavel also married in Romania a day ago and baptized his children at the same time.
A few hours later, he returned to England with his family. As his wife was tired of the journey, Pavel went to the family party alone.
After leaving the party, Pavel saw a drunk woman and two other women getting out of a taxi in the early hours of the morning. Pavel was immediately malicious, and sexually assaulted the drunk woman after she parted ways with others.
After the sexual assault, the drunk woman can only recall limited details, including the sound of the glass being smashed in Pavel's car and his riding on her. She struggled, kicked around, and was finally wheeled out of Pavel's car.
Then the drunk woman banged on the door of the nearby household. The man who opened the door heard the sound of high-heeled shoes, and saw the woman in front of him shouting for help, so he immediately called the police.
In court, jurors heard that the victim's life had been "completely changed" because she was suffering from panic disorder, often crying, and needed alcohol to "erase memories".
But Pavel argued in court that after the drunk woman waved to him and got on the car, the two had sex voluntarily, which he claimed was a frame up. But the jury dismissed his defense.
A live report in Stoke City said jurors were told the woman was "hopelessly drunk" and would never agree when Pavel attacked her.
Pavel was eventually convicted of rape, sentenced to seven years in prison, and had to be registered for life as a sex offender.
