Stand Against Women Violence And Say No To Rape In Nigeria.
Now, should we treat women as independent agents, responsible for themselves? Of course. But being responsible has nothing to do with being raped. Women don’t get raped because they were drinking or took drugs. Women do not get raped because they weren’t careful enough. Women get raped because someone raped them.
Rape is one of the most terrible crimes taking our nation Nigeria as a case study and it happens every few minutes. The problem with groups who deal with rape is that they try to educate women about how to defend themselves. What really needs to be done is teaching men not to rape. Go to the source and start there.
What had human beings become? Did ignorance, poverty, crave for power and wealth make us evil or just activate an evil already lurking within us? But no matter how much evil I see, I think it’s important for everyone to understand that there is much more light than darkness.
A rapist shouldn't be justified for any reason just as murderers are never found innocent even if they kill for revenge! They are mere animals in human clothing who are of no expectant to live amidst humans but amidst animals in the deep forest. In my dear father's land, we fight against racism, blaming the whites for racially abusing blacks but how have we blacks combat the internal racism amidst us?
As said, "Where common sense is needed, spiritual consultation is a total waste of time" but how common is the acclaimed common sense when we exert force on our fellow is satisfying pleasures!
Tell the oppressor that the children of the oppressed will grow and come back to forcefully seek freedom!
Our dear ladies; let end this piece by saying "your dressing matters, dress decent and desist from dresses that make you public figure when you pass amongst men, ladies, detest being used unlawfully in things that get you exposed!
