Nigerian suspected fraudster who was formerly based in Dubia, Ramoni Abbas, popularly called Hushpuppi was reportedly moved from Chicago prison to California prison, weeks after he was repatriated to US over an allegation of wide scale internet fraud, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Popular Hushpuppi whose bail application was recently denied by a Chicago court and therefore ordered by Justice Gilbert who presided over his case in Chicago, that he should be kept in detention till his next trial which comes up later this year, has at the moment settled for a government lawyer after his case was transferred to another district court.
The information about moving the suspected internet fraudster to California on Tuesday being July 14, was confirmed in the transfer documents signed by Thomas G. Bruton, who is the Clerk of the U.S Court in Chicago.
