This is so unfair, how can a man pour very hot water on a woman he claims to be in love with? This Ghanaian man on the photo is by name Emmanuel Opoku, and he is 28 years old. He poured very hot water on the boobs of his lover, one Chiamaka Ngwu age 25 years at their home in Akuke Awkunanaw Enugu.
The spokesperson of Enugu State Police command, ASP Ndukwe Ekea, said that Emmanuel Opoku's arrest was as a result of a petition received, at the Commands headquarter on July 10th 2020 from Women aid Collective (WACOL) Enugu that he, Emmanuel Opoku because of a misunderstanding between him and his lover, poured a very hot water on her on June 23rd 2020.
The ASP of Enugu State Police Command, also added that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed AbdurRahman MCPSS, MCJ, MNIM has directed the immediate launch, timely completion of investigation and prosecution of the suspect.
And the residents of Enugu State are now asked by the Police to report any person(s) found committing or have committed acts of assult/grievous bodily harm and related offences due to domestic violence, to the nearest Police station.
